The practice is moving to a new clinical system. This is part of a national programme affecting all GP practices in Scotland. Antonine Medical Practice moves to the new clinical system on 16th October 2026.
- Appointments – As we transition to the new clinical system there will be limited pre-bookable appointments after 5th October. This is due to having to close the appointment books in preparation for moving to the new system. We aim to resume booking routine appointments for all clinicians starting 26th October.
- We will operate an on the day emergency service from 13th to 23rd October. We kindly ask that only patients with urgent issues contact us between this time.
- Issue medication early – if your medication is due between 2nd October and 21st October, please order this early. We will accept early requests from 21st September
- Patient Access will be suspended from 12pm on October 5th. After this, you will not be able to access it. As
we transition to a new clinical system, Patient Access will switch to Patient Services. You will receive a
welcome email from Patient Services once we Go Live with the new clinical system on October 16th. It will
give you information about the new ordering system. This email may look like spam and go into your junk
email box. We ask that you check your inboxes to look out for it. Please also ensure we have your updated
email address.
We will issue further communication to patients in the form of text message over the coming days and weeks. Please ensure reception have your up-to-date mobile telephone number to ensure you receive these important communications.
We apologise for this disruption and ask for your patience during this time.
